KIM stands for Krishnaji Inamdar Memorial Heart Foundation. The trust was established on 15th September 1993 in Pune and registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. The register number is E-1785 / Pune.
The trust was formed in the memory of Late Mr. Krishnaji Hanumant Inamdar (father of Dr.Avinash Inamdar). The trust was registered as KRISHNAJI HEART FOUNDATION and later in the year 2016 the name was changed to KRISHNAJI INAMDAR MEMORIAL HEART FOUNDATION
Story of KIM Heart Foundation
Late Mr. Krishnaji Hanumant Inamdar (father of Dr.Avinash Inamdar) who in his early fifties, died on the operation table while undergoing a heart operation in Pune in the year 1983.
The untimely death of Mr. Krishnaji Inamdar and his inability then to go abroad for surgery at the best centres in the world prompted Dr.Avinash Inamdar to form this trust.
Dr.Avinash Inamdar obtained a formal educational degree and training in Heart Surgery in India and abroad and then went ahead to offer his expertise to the poor and middle class patients under the banner of this trust.

Free Heart Surgeries
Dr Avinash Inamdar has performed more than 4000 heart surgeries on the patients those were in urgent need of an operation. He has performed these operations free of cost for the underprivileged people who couldn’t afford it.
